Up for grabs are 8 6BQ5/EL84 Tubes three are marked Hammond made in Germany, three are marked Gulbransen made in Austria, two are made in USA one is an RCA the other one not sure of maker.
I think the 3 Gulbransen marked tubes are made by Valvo/Phillips I believe the 3 Hammond marked made in Germany are made by Phillips in their Yugoslavian Factory in the mid 60's all of these have 4 seamed tops similar to Mullard/Amperex made tubes.
The RCA made tube is a blackplate the other USA made tube is a grayplate tube.
$100.00 shipped for all eight tubes in the USA

Well, I just pulled off the impossible by doing a double-blind comparison all by myself, purely by virtue of the fact that I completely and stupidly forgot what I did last. I guess that getting old does have its advantages after all

More info the three Gulbransen branded tubes are early very rare Phillips D getter types made in 1958 code is rX3 A8K which these are made in the Sittard factory. these tubes alone are worth more than the asking price but since I have posted it the price will remain the same for 24 hours then off to other venues for more money
