Greetings!

Santa will be bringing us a pair of LSi7's and an LSiC for Christmas because we have been good, mostly. Should we find that we're very happy with this set-up after break-in our plans may include a pair of LSi9's or LSi?'s to complete our speaker purchases. But we're wondering if Polk is discontinuing these speakers because the 7's are dropping in price and the 9's don't seem to be readily available anywhere so we're concerned that by the time we have the cash ready the speakers won't be available. Anything out there we should know?

Thanks.

Polk has a new series, the LSiM's out, so no doubt the LSi's are going to be harder to find new. Not to worry, there will plenty of LSi's on the used market as Polk made them for 10 years.

(Grumble, grumble) Yeah, well used is used. The 9's are already hard to find . . . esp in cherry. Thanks for the feedback.

The Lsi 9s on Polk's ebay site fluctuate. Keep checking back and be ready to click "buy" when you see them drop. I have yet to hear of anyone who bought from the ebay site who did not receive items that were in like new condition.

Personally unless the "used" ones are pretty beat up you can save a ton of cash going that way. Plus if you buy off the forum lots of folks have even upgraded their sets and still price them less than "new" ones....

Thanks all. Appreciate the encouragement. It has taken some time to collect enough green paper for the 7's & C and it will take sometime longer to score the 9's w/amp to drive them. We started the LSi collection a little late in the game and weren't paying attention to the advent of the M's. Just have to wait and see if there will be 9's available when we are.

We were going to set up the 7's and C before Christmas but decided to make them Santa's gift since we went a little beyond our budget to acquire them. Maybe they'll be all we need, who knows. Thanks again for all the feedback.
