Great reciever but in need of some love thus the price. I can not get the tuner to work and its missing one of the bulbs in the backlight. I do not own any vinal so I did not test the phono stage either. The amp does seem to work, and plays cds well, and I also have it hooked up to my computers through a dac and I really understand why people love these so very much. The aux and tape lines have all been tested. If shipping is not required im willing to sell for $60.00. One last note the power button sticks but it turns on and plays fine. This would be a great project for any of you knowledgable people out there to clean it up a little and fix the tuner. I have perfect track record on audiogon with 45 points on my sales.

I also have a JL audio W7 for sale in another add for Car audio.

Thanks for looking,

Logan

Nice looking piece. At least your "stereo" light is still on. Those are the "first" to go. Everything on mine works, but that went out recently. Not worth the trouble of replacing because it is NOT a drop-in like most of the rest of the Marantz light/fuses.

Spectacular pricing for that! As proven by the quick sale!

Should have put it on ebay. Marantz sells like "hotcakes" over there...and almost always a bidding war!

Glad a Polkie got it instead!

They sell like hotcakes over here too... it was not even 10 minutes after this listing appeared that it was sold! How do these guys do it? Is there some way to get new posting sent via email? Give that 2220 a nice home, it deserves it!

I totally understand why people love these so much. I cant tell you the whole history of this since its from i estimate 74 and i was born in ohhhh 86. I probably would have kept it if it had pre outs on it, it has fabulous potential. I did a cost inflation calculator and it would have been just shy of 1500 today. Which is a good quality product price point now.
