LED Outdoor Christmas Lights Questions

I know I'm running a bit late this year plus it's raining this weekend. I'm thinking about switching my outdoor Xmas lights to LED and was looking for feedback. I mainly string a massive tree in the front yard with tons of lights.
Is it worth the switch to LED? I hear of water corrosion, poor material and workmanship, cost, weird off colors, dim lights. Anything else?
Also, I've never used the C6 or C9 lights and was interested in how the LED versions are.
Photos would be nice!
Thx

Yes, they are definitely worth it. The last year I did Christmas Lights, we made a 8' tall mega tree out of a long pipe and some PVC tubing, and it looked GREAT! Color was spectacular and it really looked wonderful.
Here's a video I found online of an entire LED light setup:

LEDs are economical and efficient compared to most other types of lights. Definitely worth it! As far as cheap, this is not a LED manufacturing problem but ratter Chinese manufacturing issue. Most everything is now made in China. If you are willing to find a quality product made in North America (if still exist of course) and willing to pay the price then that could potentially solve the cheap issue.DARE TO SOAR:

I used to blow breakers all the time with my old lights. I barely noticed a change in my electric bill with the LED lights. They are brighter too. I load up an 8 foot tall spruce tree with about 500 lights, and you can see it from space. LOL I do about 10 trees total.

Is this a serious post, or did you forget your spam link? Dragging up a year old post for your first post seems a bit spamish, based on the modus operandi of spammers.Lumin X1 file player, Westminster Labs interconnect cable
