amp selection

I'm running the rti6s for my fronts, csi5 for my center and rti4s for my surround. I'm running the speakers off of the Onkyo 3400 HTiB which uses the Onkyo ht-r390 receiver. The receiver does not have any pre-outs. Here's my questions: For best sound quality, to amp my 3 front speakers, should I go with 2 AudioSource Amp 200 which have the speaker line inputs, or go with 2 Adcom 535 amps and use a Line Out Converter? My plan is to use one amp for the left and right speaker and one amp bridged for the center. From what I read, it seems like the Adcom is a better sounding amp, but I don't know how much sound quality would suffer from using a Line Out Converter. Opinions please. I can get the same deal for either amps, which is $180 for the 2 Adcoms or $180 for the 2 AudioSouce Amp 200. Thanks.

I would replace the receiver all together. Putting in a line level converter is a no-no.

Like, it's not even a consideration to do that. Not in a million years.

What about using the speaker line inputs on the AudioSource Amp. Is it just as bad?

A good or or even mid grade amp probably won't even have speaker level inputs. I wouldn't even use them on a sub.

Save your pennies and buy decent gear. Cutting corners will get you no where. Those Rti speakers are not power hogs, so any quality avr will power them beautifully on it's own, which will be a big step up from your htib receiver. A good avr is all you need.
