What current Polk speaker is equivalent to RT20p?
I've owned and used the RT20p for since 1996. I need to replace them with something equivalent in the current line. Suggestions?

RTiA7, hands down. It's a spot on match in regards to aesthetics and spec's and there's no need for powered subwoofers in loudspeakers. You'll get a more forward presentation, not quite as mellow as you may be used to but we're talking a couple generations of tweeter changes since then....and better, just different is all I'm saying. The cabinet is very well designed with a lot of attention to resonance control opposed to the monkey coffin design of the RT series. Your midrange will be very similar and the bass just as punchy and tight, probably better actually with a high end that will be nice and crisp.
The RT20p is a very cool vintage Polk loudspeaker, glad you still have a pair.

Welcome to Club Polk!
Those are some sweet vintage Polk HT speakers there. Nonetheless, Doro has your back. The newer RTI-A series towers are also nice and probably have a more detailed high end. But I bet your RT20ps can pound out some deep bass?
