RM7/RM8 mounting kit

Sorry for the extremely basic question, but I want to make sure I'm not missing something. I just purchased the RM510 kit, which comes with RM7/RM8 speakers and wall mounts. There were no screws supplied with the wall mounts and the instructions make no mention of what size screws should be used. Does any one know what size/type should be used or is it assumed any ole screw will work? I want to make sure the mount is as secure as possible. Thanks.

Hello,
Are you referring to the bolt that attaches the mounting bracket to the speaker? Or, do you mean the screw or nail you would put in the wall to attach the bracket to?
Regards, Ken -
I'm referring to the screw that attaches the bracket to the wall.

You could use a #6 or #8 wood screw or even a "penny" nail is fine. It just has to fit in the wide part of the notched opening and then allow the narrow part of the opening to fit snugly behind the head of the screw/nail.
