I have had my Rti12's hooked up to an Onkyo M504 for about a year using single post . I was wondering if it would be alright to Bi amp these or what I mean is hook up two sets of wires to two terminals on speakers and two sets on amp? If it is alright to do this . Could I also do this w my newer Parasound HCA1200 I just picked up from fellow Polky! I understand this is a no no w an integrated amp? As always thanks, Darryl

Is the Emotiva not bringing out the low end. Its 200 wpc isn't it?

He said he was using the Onkyo for the 12s, so I would assume the Emo is for center and surrounds.

Dabutcher - You can experiment all you want, but personally, I'd forget about those bi-amp posts. Just pull the jumpers out and replace them with a short length of quality speaker wire.

Ya, didn't look close enough. Have you tried powering the front three with the Emo and the rears with the Onk?

Yes I use the Emotive for center and RTi8's in the rear. Thank you. Darryl

Debron. I have tried that configuration and it works well for HT but seems too harsh or not as nice to listen to w my TT listening to Classic. Rock albums two channel style with just fronts. Thanks

I hear you. I own a pair of 12s and they rock for HT, but I like my RTA8Ts for music better. Have the 12s up for sale.

I have 10s hooked up to a xpa-3 along with a sub and I think they sound great for HT and music. The key is the sub though. I dont get enough bass without it.

I just hooked up the Parasound 1200 to take the Onkyo's place for front mains. Speaker wire is too thick for connector holes? I bought some pin connectors @the Shack for ten bills. Is there a more high fidelity way to solve this? Thanks. Darryl
