After spending way to much time researching my next speaker purchase, and way to much time with my pair of SDA's, I really want to try out the Dynaudio brand. I want to spend at the max $1,000 for a used pair. I'm wondering if any of you had any recommendations in this price range.

I was also looking into the Totem Sttaf, but I really want to get my ears on some Dynaudio. A small footprint floorstander is really appealing to me. I should mention that I have a 1 year old which is a big reason for staying away from bookshelves on stands. I also can't give up the low end of a floorstander. My Monitor Audio RS6's were the perfect size but I couldn't tame their brightness in my system/room, so they had to go. I loved the bass output on the RS6's though. Just incredible for a small floorstander.

Just looking for some direction here. I'm hoping someone can point out a special speaker in the Dynaudio line in my price range.

Drop mantis (Dan) a PM. Not only does he sell Totems, he's also a fan of Dynaudios and I would trust his judgment and recommendation of either speaker. The Dynaudios I've heard have ALL been very very good. So I don't think you can do much wrong there!

Hopefully, Dan, will chime in later here!

I would check these out if you are seriously interested and close. They won't last long at that price and are better than the Audience 82 listed at a higher price.

Yea, that's what I keep hearing about this brand. It's almost like everybody works for them, lol. I mean literally, that exact sentence is what I keep hearing.

I'll hit Mantis up. I really enjoyed his review of the new Polk bookies.

I don't have that kind of cash right now. I'll be making a purchase in a couple of months when the funds become available.

Sorry to hear; that's a great price for a fantastic speaker. For your stated requirements and budget, I would watch for these in the future.

Thanks for pointing those out. They're definitely on my radar now.
