compact speaker cable vs regular size cable?

Hi I'm planning to buy in-ceiling speakers in family room. I couldn't find the difference between the compact speaker cable & regular size (or biggie) cable on google search beside the size. How are the sound between two?

Would you recommend getting a compact or regular size cable for in-ceiling speaker?

    Polk customer service ought to be able to help you (assuming you are going with Polk in-walls). If other than Polk speakers, Monster or whatever wire supplier you choose should be able to help.

    In either case they are likely to want to know how long the wire runs will be and the power rating of the amp/ receiver you'll use.
