Subwoofer out mono cable/line level inputs? (Harmon Kardon Receiver)

Hey Everyone!

So I'm buying either an Harman kardon hk3490 or hk3480 receiver. The problem is, neither of them have LFE capabalities, but rather connect via a subwoofer out mono cable, or line-level inputs or something of that sort. What cable (preferably off of amazon) can I buy that would allow me to connect your average sub to the HK receiver?
If it helps, I am thinking of buying the Polk Audio PSW10 (unless there is a similarly priced model that you think would be better, in which case tell me the model and how I would hook IT up to the HK).

Thanks!

PS I am planning on buying the Polk Audio RTI A3 speakers to use with this setup, which I'll use primarily for music and maybe 15% for video. Do you support this, or are there other speakers which would work better?

The H/K receivers just label the LFE out as Sub. No difference though. The LFE and Bass settings are all controlled in the OSD (On Screen Display).

It seems that the newer subs are starting to have stereo inputs, with an LFE "switch" that just bridges both channels. If the sub you are looking at doesn't have the LFE option, then just get a Y cable for the sub side.

I see subwoofer outputs listed for the HK3490 NOT the HK3480 models you posted, what's the issue? Get an RCA cable and the HK3490.
CTC BBQ Amplifier, Sonic Frontiers Line3 Pre-Amplifier and Wadia 581 SACD player. Speakers? Always changing but for now, Mission Argonauts I picked up for $50 bucks, mint.
