Alpha Core Goertz Python MI2 12 foot pair of speaker cables

I have for sale a pair of Alpha Core Goertz Python MI2 12 foot pair of speaker cables for sale. I am selling them because I recently purchased a pair of MIT Shotgun S3 cables and don't really need these anymore. The Goertz Pythons are about 85% of the MIT's, but cost about 1/2 the amount. They are very good cables! These cables are construced of four twisted film insulated flat OFC put on top of each other equal to 10 guage pure copper wire sealed in a high grade polymer. Alpha-Core Goertz claims to have the lowest inductance out of any speaker cable made. The cables are flexable but able to with stand insane amounts of pressure. It is extremely hard to destroy these cables. The cables are terminated with Alpha Core rhodium plated bananas. I do have a full set of Alpha Core spades if you would rather have have those, but it will be up to you to reterminate them. Also, I have a pair of 10 foot ones if you want a shorter pair. They are not in as good of condition as I am the second owner of them. I bought them from www.usedcable.com about 7 years ago. They also have bananas on them. I would sell them for a little less if interested in them instead.

These cables are in new condition. I bought them new directly from Alpha Core 6 years ago and have used them since always being careful with them. These cables go for $488.80 new. I am looking to get $225.00 plus shipping for them. Below are some pictures.

My response is: If you need 60 seconds to respond in one sentence, you probably should't be evaluating Polk speakers.....

Bump for some very good speaker cables. Believe me, for the same price you would have a very hard time getting something better and certainly not in better shape than these. I believe Face can vouch for these cables.

These are back on the market again. I was using these as my AI-1 cables, but recently bought some bulk MIT wire from Jesse and terminated it and am using that now for my AI-1. I will reduce the price to $200.00 plus actual shipping. I will not lower the price further for these as I know I can sell these for this amount on Audiogon. These are in the same shape as I stated before, but I have since used the spades I had to terminate some jumpers I made for my 2.3TL's. These are terminated with bananas and are more versitle as far as compatability.

I really need to sell these and I have them listed for $200.00 on other sites, so I will reduce these to $180.00 (to make for a Polkie price) plus actual shipping. I am starting to feel like I am giving them away at this price. These cables will blow away the PNF cables I sold about a month ago as I have compared them on the same equipment. They are easily worth $105 more than what I sold the PNF's for. The clarity, soundstage and bass are very nice from these cables. They really are in brand new condition; take a look at the photos. You won't be dissapointed with them. I do have them listed on several other sites, so if you are interested please let me know quickly.

Just curious would you consider these better than MIT Terminator 2 cables?
If you consider them to be better than T2's in what ways ?
    Would you ship to Canada?

Sorry, I cannot speak to the comparison of these and the MIT T2's as I've never heard the T2's. I can only compare them to the Shotgun S3's. The S3's have a little better soundstage. A little better transparancy, and a little better clarity. Not nearly as big of a difference as the comparison of these Goertz cable to the PNF cables. The Goertz compared to the PNF cables are vastly better in all audio aspects.

Not sure if Face has heard both the Terminator 2's and the Python MI2's? Or someone else?

I won't have a problem shipping to Canada as long as it's by FEDEX or UPS.

Well, apparently cables are the most difficult item to sell...... Anyway, this is THE LAST price drop I will do for these cables. I guarantee you won't find these cables cheaper anywhere on the internet (that are in as nice a condition and the same length). This is a stupidly cheap price for these. I feel I am being ripped off, but I would like to sell these quick to fund another audio purchase. I will offer these for $150.00 plus actual shipping. Payment via paypal (as a gift or you pay 3% fee) or money order/check if you are an established (many more than 100 posts and regular poster) member.

I am so glad that you are willing to try new cables these days...I was once worried I was going to have to come to Canadia and throw poutine at you for you to realize the error of your ways.

I don't think you would get the poutine anywhere close to me as I would EAT it first..
I'm glad I've become more open minded as well and not such a Lunkhead..
If these Alpha's sound any bit as good as the MIT's I will be very Impressed..
