Hello people out there in Polk land! This is my first post. I have RTA-15TL's, and the man I got them from gave me two sets of monster cable. The set on them now are bare wire{solid middle} and other end looks like an brass horseshoe{spade?}....It appears they can handle an large banana plug, and it has to be large, cause holes are large.....Thanks in advance for any help...Thanks for having me on the site as well!

I'm sure there will be other opinions, but I say there is no wrong answer here. Some will choose banana plugs or spade terminals simply for the neatness factor, others for convenience. But I don't think anyone can claim that they change or improve the sound.* After all, any type of wire termination adds an additional and unnecessary air-to-air coupling to your speaker cable. For this reason, some people will swear that bare wire is best. I say don't sweat it too much, go with whatever you feel like, and enjoy your speakers.
Me? I use banana plugs since I tend to swap out audio gear and speakers on a semi-regular basis. So for me it's the convenience factor.
