Looking for a new tv for my bedroom (20x20) and seeing what people thought in the panny vs the samsung. I have heard good reviews on both models and have seen the samsung in action and think it looks pretty good. I like that the samsung is 51 but the 42 inches should be plenty large enough as well. The room will not have a lot of outside light and will be about 15- 18 ft away from the main viewing area. Best buy has the panny for 699 and the samsung for 599 right now. I like that the panny is 1080p verse the 720 of the samsung.
Any thoughts on the 2 models??

I would get the Panasonic over the Samsung. The ST series is pretty good and Panasonic plasmas are some of the most reliable tvs out there. I have 2 Panasonic plasmas and love them both.
