will be out tomorrow, same time as Sting (coincident, hmmm) Had previewed the tracks, several rendition of standards: My funny valentine, The Look of Love (another one with vocal, it seems to be a popular tune lately). $12.99 at BB...

    I have never heard of him, from the "Valentine" song mention....is he Harry Connick'ish?

    I know, way of picking up title...:) his Night Sessions SACD album is one of the best recording, period. The different between him and Harry, he doesn't sing. One hell of a trumpet player though, formerly with Sting...

    I don't know if I am able to go instrumental, but it sounds interesting. I will check it out PT, thanks for the tip.

    I'll probably pick it up. I like his tone...very Miles-ish, plus he plays with a mute alot (again Miles-ish). Hopefully the recording will be as good as his first. Is the new one being released in SACD too? That would seal the deal.

    Plus, his music makes the wife horny. God bless him.

    I'll have to look for it, I hope that I can find it on SACD. Night Sessions is an excellant smooth jazz disc. You guys might also be interested in "The Very Best of Chris Botti."

    Got this one today, very nice indeed! for some reason, track #6 has faint scratchy intermittent noise. Other than that, superb recording, very enjoyable and makes woody's wife horny :D

    no, I was looking around for any write-up last night for the SACD version, can't find any (including his website). So, I would say, it's not going to be in a while.

    Definitely a recommended buy!
