I've moved recently and have decided to pare down the gear I have and then try something new. I'm the second owner of these and have enjoyed them for the last several years. Serial numbers are 3292 and 4083. Come complete with new replacement RDO tweeters and SDA blade-blade cable. I also have a complete set of Larry's driver mounting rings and new crossover face plates that I haven't got around to installing. Will also include an unused set of compatible speaker spikes from Meniscus Audio.

The speakers are very clean with no rips in the fabric or scratches, dings, or cracks in the wood and have always been run with good amplification by me and the previous owner. On the Audiogon scale I'd rate them an 8 out of 10 cosmetically since they are around 25 years old. As is common with original SDA-SRS speakers, the original anodized crossover faceplate faded over time on one of the speakers but not the other. If you choose to, you can take the speakers to a higher level by updating the crossover components with higher quality than originally used, and doing some other tweaks. I've been happy with them in their original state, apart from replacing the driver mounting screws with brass ones shortly after I got the speakers.

Asking price is $1100, local pickup only at my place in Springfield, VA. Payment by cash or Paypal. These will not be shipped anywhere. I can help you load them up for safe travel if you have a full size SUV, van, or truck. As you probably know, each speaker weighs around 185 lbs. They'll go to Ebay next weekend if they haven't sold here.

If you are interested, please post here first and send me a private message. Thanks.

Hi, I have recently been looking for a set. I posted in the WTB ads as well. I am near Erie, PA. That is the biggest issue for me as it is
about 350 miles from you. Pittsburgh would be a good meetup place if you head up that way. Could you email me some pics at musky1963@adelphia.net > Thanks, Jeff

I forgot to mention that I have a few sets of Unity Audio speakers. Both the Fountainheads and the Signature Ones. They are the best 2 speakers that they made. They are very rare to see for sale.

Took some photos this morning. I did notice a small snag in the fabric near the bottom of the right speaker cover.

With tweeter upgrades, new crossover plates, and Larry's rings for midwoofers, passive radiators, and tweeters ready for you to install, you're already looking at around $500+ better than other SDA-SRS models you may see elsewhere! Note: spot on third photo was dust on my camera lens.

They rent pickups and vans for not a whole lot of money. Makes getting a great deal on a nice set of SDAs easy.

I'm seriously considering it! I wouldn't know until Tuesday if I can actually get the time away to come get them. Working 12 hr days, 7 days a week. Work at Ford and we totally gutted out plant and are under the gun to get everything finished soon so production can start back. Would have to take a weekend off...the wheels are turning!

Emlyn is a first class Polk member. I've made several transactions. Buy with confidence!

Good luck with the sale! These are great speakers at a fantastic price.

Hi David. The speakers are original SDA-SRS's, not 1.2's or 1.2TL's.

    PM sent.
