Just wanted to say I hope everyone had a good turkey day. Hope you all ate like it was your last supper. I know I did. Mine was pretty darn good. We usually take turns having dinner for 40+ people and this year was at my brother in-laws in Geneva, Illinois that is. Must say that this year was an all male kitchen and we hit that sucker out of the park. 2-22lb birds on the smoker, a rump roast in the dutch oven, homemade ricotta gnocci in a basil cream sauce, suasage stuffing, homemade cranberry sauce, and all the usual trimmings to go along. Almost forgot my job, the veal. 8 lbs hammered thin, soaked overnight in milk, lightly breaded and pan fried in olive oil and garlic. Not an inch of veal was left so I guess they liked it. The good Napa wines were decanted and hid away from those Gallo jug drinkers, if ya know what I mean. Before dinner we snacked on homemade calzones, italian lunchmeats and imported cheeses, dry sausage, and a host of other goodies.
Was nice to see all the family that you hardly get to see all year. Some remind you why that is too. The drama never ends. But in the end, it was nice. Hope all you wiseguys and girls had an equally good time. Here's to kicking off the holiday season, cheers.

Glad to hear you had a good time Tony, That is the most important thing, I understand about the relatives though some of them once a year is plenty.

    REGARDS SNOW
Well, I just pulled off the impossible by doing a double-blind comparison all by myself, purely by virtue of the fact that I completely and stupidly forgot what I did last. I guess that getting old does have its advantages after all :D
