Psw10 vs psw111 vs psw110

Hi,

I have a rather small bedroom, king sized bed, plane walls.
I currently use 2x Behringer Truth 3030A monitors, mainly because I once wanted to experience ribbon tweeters.
They're not bad, and 'full range', so they go down to between 60 and 80Hz.
They're ~180W for both, but I never play them at above 20-25% of their volume.

They're lacking the deepest deeps; and I wanted to buy a subwoofer for the deep effects.
I really don't need the punch 80-250Hz, because I already have enough of that.

I want the low-lows!

Volume is less of an issue to me, than money. Money, and size wise I'm stuck to the above 3.

Money wise I'd take the PSW10. But I don't know if they are going to give me a nice lows or not.

are there any with a HPF filter? (eg freq cutoff at above 80-120Hz, or is the cutoff a LPF)?

You think I should get a subwoof when I'm using 'studio' monitors as my reference monitors?

Any advise would be appreciated.

Thank you!

What are you listening to? HT, music, or both? How loud?

I like my PSW10 for a music system where max vol is maybe 85dB peak. The PSW10 only goes down to about 30 Hz, so I wouldn't suggest it for a real HT set-up.

I am not crazy about the PSW10 but has mentioned for music in a small bedroom it should definitely do the trick. The PSW111 seems to be well rated however, my personal research points the PSW111 has having a little too many failure. On the ohter hand, the PSW110 seem to be one with the least failure issues (some but not as many as others). The PSW110 and 111 are also decent for small HT room so if both music and movie are as important in that bedroom the PSW110 or 111 would be a better choice.

PSW110. It hits lower than the PSW111 and is more of what you're looking for based on your post. As far as failure rates, I have seen nothing abnormal about any of them personally.
CTC BBQ Amplifier, Sonic Frontiers Line3 Pre-Amplifier and Wadia 581 SACD player. Speakers? Always changing but for now, Mission Argonauts I picked up for $50 bucks, mint.

I mainly will use it for movies.
It'll either be placed on the floor against the wall in the bottom center of the wall of the screen, or in a corner.

Any idea if any of the subs can generate waves that you can FEEL in a small bedroom? (bedroom size approx 12 by 14ft of area space).

I wanted to go for a Bose, which I now kind of regret not doing, because the total price of the Behringer set with wall mounts and sub costs me only $90 less than a real Bose 2.1 system.

But since I already have the Behringers, for the ribbon tweeters, I might as well go for the extra sub.

Which of the two or three is best for the lows, and can provide explosions that can be felt instead of heard?
