Left around 11:30pm to go BF shopping. She'll probably be home around 10am. Has her nephew, who is just as crazy, to keep her company. She thinks it's worth it. I'd rather sleep...

Brother-in-law and daughter did the same. I shopped the Egg and other on-line stores and went to bed at 11pm. Ha!

I hate BF, but this years ads are pretty lame. I don't see a lot of good deals out there.

I just bought something from a BF ad on-line w/free shipping. Glad I didn't get in line at 5AM. The print ad did an add'l $5 off in store only. It was well worth $5 to me to stay home and use the internet.

She's home. Got in around 9. The big purchase was an Xbox 360 with Kinect & a bunch of stuff to go with it. It's for the kids. Dad might have some fun with it too...

I'm with you. But my wife stayed home last night (she's out today). A friend of mine and I sat down at that time to watch the Texas/Texas A&M game as it broke for commercials for the 10PM Thursday BF at W-mart? Didn't stop us from sharing a few quality Tequilas (Tres Rios). That also turned into a pretty good game in the last quarter.

All 4 of my kids (17-23) work in retail and their schedules are INSANE!

My 21-yr old had to go in at 10PM Thanksgiving eve to prepare for an 11PM opening. We conciously changed or schedule to have dinner earlier than normal to allow her time for a quick nap before she had to leave and guzzle Red Bull all night to stay awake. The others also had to go in very early (between 4 and 6 AM).

These retailers just keep pushing it earlier and earlier each year, and I'm sure the the actual holiday will eventually be consumed and become meaningless.

    I personally don't like it.

    100% with you on that...

I feel really bad for the people that are forced to go into work on a holiday like that so people can save $5 on a useless item while getting pepper sprayed in the face, or shot in the parking lot...

LOL, I just read a story, about a woman who pepper sprayed 20 people in LA, to get an advantage in the store.
