I am going to order a Pioneer VSX-1121-K reciever, 2 polk monitor 70s, and a CS2 center channel speaker. I dont have much room to put big surround speakers like the monitor 40s so I was thinking about getting 2 Polk Audio Blackstone? TL3. I'm very new to the home theater thing so I was just wondering if you guys think these things will all work together. And if the TL3's are a good choice being that I dont not have much space. Please give me your feedback.

Thanks,
Vince

    Welcome to Club Polk!

TL3s might be overkill for a Monitor system. Step down to the TL2s, they have a silk dome tweeter that is a little better match with the Monitors..though probably a "better" tweeter!

Another option for tight spaces would be Polk's OWM speakers--can wall mount fairly flush, see link below:

Might work better for you depending on space constraints.

I personally would stick with the TL3 idea, if you ever change or upgrade system, the TL3 is a banging little speaker that you could enjoy elsewhere

Are you going to wall mount? If so, and you have the room, try and find a used pair of fxi3s. Awsome surrunds! 12" H x 10" W x 7" D.
