How do you take your Sake?

Cheers and holiday greetings. With Thanksgiving this week, Christmas is just around the corner. With that said, I'm going to offer a nice bottle of Habu Sake. This sake is like no other, as it is exclusively made on the island of Okinawa, Japan. The sake is Awamori , and does contain the deadly Habu snake inside it's contents. The venom of the snake dissolves into the alcohol so it will not harm you. If you prefer to have the sake without the snake in the bottle please let me know before I ship this. To be in you must have at least 300 posts, non alcoholic ( sorry I had someone try to eat the damn snake once and almost die from it), and say " I like my sake with deadly venom". As a bonus I will throw in a nice Sake set made in Japan as a Christmas present for you to open. All items will be insured as the Sake is $200.00 - $2000 a bottle( expensive but you are worth it). If you decide not to open it upon winning, no problem use it as a display for family and friends.
For those who are interested in how it's made, see more here:
Habu sake (which is actually Awamori alcohol mixed with herbs, honey, and a big snake) is a liquor that came to Japan from China, where the snake is known for its medicinal properties, Habu Sake is good for back problems and arthritis because it has 19 amino acids beneficial to humans, and also the snake poison dissolved in the alcohol gives to this liquor some special properties.
To make habu sake or Snake wine you need a habu which is a snake species found in Japan that must be put on ice until it is half-asleep, then you must drain of some of it's blood and sew it up.
Afterwards the snake will wake up and finish its life in an attacking position that a lot of habu manufacturers look for when they subsequently throw the habu in a nice ethanol bath to preserve it.
The habus are left to soak for a month and then transferred to a 59% alcohol mix for 40 days before being placed in a 35% awamori.
In Japan the beverage is awamori and when it has a yummy poisonous pit viper in it it?s called habushu (literally, poisonous East Asian pit viper liquor).
Please don't try to eat the snake guys, I will not be held responsible for madness. Good luck gents. Pics included so you see what you get, Sake set may vary in design. Your in for a tasty treat.
Karma will end December 10, 2011.

This is one interesting karma. " I like my sake with deadly venom" I really can't offer anything to match on the culinary end but if I should win, I will send a very nice stein or stein set to a second place drawing winner of your choosing."The secret of happiness is freedom. Uhhh...just an FYI for those of you in the States, check your state's liquor laws before you say in. Quite a few states will not allow you to mail booze of any kind in or out of the state. NJ is one of them. Dunno how it is for other states but in NJ, they will intercept your package and confiscate it and may not even tell you they did so.
Would suck to win a bottle of expensive booze only to have it land on some postal clerk's kitchen table rather then your mantle where it was intended.
That said, nice karma but I'm out since I live in NJ.Expert Moron Extraordinaire

This is freaking coincidentally awesome! I will be putting my wife on a plane headed for Okinawa (where her dad was stationed during the Vietnam era and she attended High School) on 12/1. My wife, her brothers and their full-bird Colonel father are squeezing in a visit in economical officer's billeting before the US gives our bases there back to Japan next year.
She always tells the stories of how her family worried their pet housecat would be killed by a habu whenever the cat escaped outdoors.

Very cool kharma ! Usually have to wait for an anniversary/celebration of some sort to be invited to Kobe to partakeof Sake. Like mine warm which, from what I understand, is the way peasants drink their cheap sake ... which is only appropriate, I guess.

Guys I'm going to have to cancel this one, due to some new restrictions with the Post Office. I used to be able to pull off sending this stuff, but I guess people are losing their postal privileges with exporting items that aren't to be shipped. When working for the gov, it's a privilege to have a postal box on the military base, not a right so they told us. I'll have to make this one up to you all. Apologies.Shoot the jumper.....................BALLIN.............!!!!!
