my "speakers" finally found it!!! and WOW

Long time no see some of you peeps :) Good too be back!

Two things, First I finally got an amp that will kill my Monitor 12'les...Second, When you got the right amplification and input, you don't need an EQ,
Noobs, learn this, Took me many years to learn it, But once i found an amp to power my speakers, I will NEVER use an EQ again!

Anyhow! Battled the "Pro" vrs the NON Pro peeps and bought a Pro amp, Might have fan noise, but once i make your ear drums bleed, you won't worry about that :) But now, My monitor 12'les can't handle the power, I long for more LOUD~!

Longs for more loud ?? Whats an EQ have to do with that anyway ? If you want loud, best think about different speaks or your next post may very well be about your tweeters not working.

Although it falls into the category of "You shouldn't", sometimes..... just sometimes .... you have to take that forbidden leap into "You Gotta" and you have to crank it up.

Not good long term, not necessarily good for the gear, but ...... sometimes .... dam, this tune needs to be cranked up ! The heck with the neighbors, and the cops won't show up before the tune is over so .......

Now excuse me, I have to answer the phone. Or is that the doorbell ? .... might be the smoke detector.

Ears aside, I think the guys are trying to tell you that you will fry your tweeters and maybe some other drivers. Pro-amps put out a "lot" of distortion as you "turn" it "up"! It might be loud but it sure ain't clean!

Of course as Tour2ma points out above, we don't quite know how old you are. But I do "believe" you have some kids so you can't be that young? What kind of "music" are listening to so loud?

However old, I'm probably older and my ears are NOT what they used to be, so do be careful! Maybe drinking a little less while it's "loud" might put things in perspective?

    Stay sober my friend!
