Taken from a recent Audioholics reply regarding "Club Polk" and Polk speakers:
"I'm yet to hear a Polk speaker that merits more than a sentence and 60 seconds discussion." :\
My response is: If you need 60 seconds to respond in one sentence, you probably should't be evaluating Polk speakers.....

Well, I just pulled off the impossible by doing a double-blind comparison all by myself, purely by virtue of the fact that I completely and stupidly forgot what I did last. I guess that getting old does have its advantages after all :D

Congrats to the winners, drat I missed another great karma, I have the original pressing of Simon and Garfunkle PSR&T, and if ya's can fine a copy it's spooky good, I had some friends over one night and the goosebump factor was off the charts, the depth of the stage and the way the pan on the soundboard moved, moved many to tears, Paul and Art's vocals coming from back to front makes this a must have on vinyl, I'd love to hear a review of this CD

Got mine in the mail yesterday. Gave it a brief listen - very nice remastering job, great spaciousness and 3d imaging. Didn't realize they used so many instruments and percussion until I listened to this!

The clarity of this remastered cd makes it easy to hear the limitations of the recording equipment back in the mid 60's when it was originally recorded, but Audio Fidelity did a nice job with this one.
