Well i'm an Edwards fan but in over 30 years of watching NASCAR i have NEVER seen a better ending.
If the 99 would have won it would have been a perfect ending but smoke's cool.

Hell yeah!! That was the best Chase ever and the best championship battle ever!

Im a long time Smoke fan so seeing him win again was awesome! My boy was sitting in my lap and I about threw him across the room when that checkered flag waved!

Tony is now the only driver to have won a championship in both formats, he's won with 2 different teams and now he's one of the only drivers to win as an owner. He is the man!

I love how Dale Jarrett called it: "Youve got 2 total opposite people here. Youve got Edwards who is very professional and has his own personal trainer that travels with him. Then youve got Tony who has a beer in one hand and a Whopper in the other."

Rock on Smoke! Ill be throwing back a Yuengling or 4 in your honor tonight!

A great quote. I was cheering for Carl but it just seemed like Smoke wanted it more and would not be denied. Five wins in ten races plus some of those moves he was making on restarts showed this. An improbable ending, he basically needed everything to go right and it did. Congrats to Tony Stewart and the 14 team. Looking forward to Daytona. Cheers.

Probably the best Finale we will ever see in NASCAR. Both guys deserved that championship but I think Tony just pushed harder for it. What an awesome race. And lets here it for Darian Grubb, I was scared when they decided to fuel strategy at the end.

But you don't get the wins without taking chances and Batting 500 in the chase is no small feet. It's a good day to be a Smoke fan.

I will say if it was anybody other than Tony that Carl was racing for this I would have pulled for Cousin Carl. The guy is the ultimate class act. He was the the first guy to go over and congratulate Tony and that says alot for him. I almost feel bad, almost.

What an awesome finale to a great season, I was at a bunch of Carl and Ford fanatics house watching...and watching...dang rain delays, and I have to say it was well worth being late for work, as great as Carl is, Tony is still the greatest dude on 4 wheels, I mean no one can coast on a clutch pedal to save some gas like he can, try to do that in your everyday car is easy, but in a 800hp monster during a Championship race not so much, Carl is a great racer and will get his trophy, just not yet...I had a Whopper for breakfast!! I walked into Burger King with my racing gear on and said "I want it my way Damnit!!" they gave me a free Whopper
