Very nice Denon DRA 1025RA stereo receiver. This was Denons top of the line receiver around 1990 and won a HiFi Grand Prix award. I think it sold for $1000 new. It features Denon optical Class A circut to cut down on harshness and a high current power supply with large Toroidal transformer. Also includes a nce MM / MC phono section. Has 125 watts per channel with peaks of over over 300 w/ch available. This was a top stereo receiver but does have inputs and outputs for video such as VCRs and VDP however it IS NOT an AV receiver. In geat shape and everything works perfect. There are a couple of scratches on the top but overall very nice. I do not have the remote but almost any universal remote will run it. Asking $195 Thanks,Keith

GLWTS I bought one new in 91 for $925. I thought I would sell it but will keep it for a back up. Anyone just starting out into Hi/Fi, this is a great buy! This will drive most large speakers just fine.

I have a DRA-825R and a DRA-835R and can vouch that these are very nice receivers and not to be confused with the recent chain store variety of Denon. They are far superior to my Denon AVR-888 for 2ch. They have fairly husky power supplies with toroidal transformers and also have pre-outs to add an external amp.
I had tried my 835R with some Vienna Acoustics Hayden Grands (4 ohm) and it did well without getting hot. It effortlessly drives my collection of Polks.
Good luck with the sale

I can't believe this hasn't sold yet. I'd consider it but I already have a surplus and should sell my 825R. I just can't seem to part with it, hoping maybe it will be a great starter system for one of my kids if they ever get interested.
BTW, I have a service manual with specs and operating instructions for the DRA-1025RA if it helps.
