Oklahoma State just lost... Rematch? maybe.

Oklahoma state just lost to Iowa State, the un-ranked Iowa State. the same Iowa State that slaughtered Texas Tech. I'm not knocking the Cowboys, Ok St. is a good team.

I smell a re match, LSU Vs. Bama the BCS national championship. Unless something outlandish happens and Oregon plays Bama, or if some how Bama loses to Auburn, or LSU loses to Arkansas OR if Georgia pulls a miracle, we could possibly see Oregon vs. Bama, LSU vs. Bama, Arkansas vs. Bama, Arkansas vs. oregon lol LSU vs. Oregon again. Why bama in all those match ups? there's no way Auburn can beat, not even possible.

so many possibilities it's annoying to think about! I love college football:cheesygrin:

There's a lot of football left to play, if Arkansas beats LSU they'll probably move past both Oregon and Bama and Oklahoma. year in and year out there's some insane thing that happens and either ruins one team or makes the other teams season. we'll see what happens. but Bama plays nobody tomorrow so they could be jumped. we'll see.

Sorry dude, I know you're a Bama fan, but if Oregon rolls this weekend against USC, I see them jumping Bama. It may not be right, but in college football polls, it's what have you done for me lately.

I don't see anyone beating LSU this year.

I totally agree with you, If oregon has a huge game they'll be no. 2. Now that I think about it more I sorta doubt Bama will be 2 at all since they aren't playing anybody. We'll see, Oregon's SOS is horrible as usual and bama's is something like 22 somewhere in there. makes me curious now. that's why I love college football, You can't really guess what's going to happen.

Arkansas and Ga are the only teams that have any chance at all of beating them. the last 4 of the Ark LSU games have been very close, except last season by a TD. the other three before by 3 points or fewer. that's why I'm as to what's going to happen with that one. should be a classic

Oregon and Bama for the championship, both with one loss to LSU....?

If LSU falls before the end of the season, they're done.

that is one weird thing to think about. That's why i'd rather see Bama and LSU just bc Oregon didn't have a close game at all with them, they would lose by 30 this time if they played again. and I don't want to see Bama play them again just bc I"m a bama fan, I just don't think anybody wants to see Oregon go and get slaughtered again and Bama play in something else and if that happened Bama would probably lose bc they wouldn't care lol

yeah, but.... with LSU's SOS being like 4th even if they did lose to Arkansas they might stay ahead of Oregon anyway and still play the re match lol ridiculous! assuming the loss to Ark is close.

Like I said, annoying to even think about, I went from thinking like "surely they can win" to "I hope they win" even when they play FCS schools which seems to trending for them. but it's good for the little guys, they get a big check for program which is cool. and I'm sure it's fun to play in T-town to some extent.

All I can say is back when I coached soccer what I was always told is it isn't what you do at the beginning of the season, it's what you do at the end. I know what you're saying about LSU/Oregon, but Oregon did put up 27pts against LSU.

That being said, I'll never try to guess what the BCS polls do.

Haha, I know i don't. sometimes when I do I get lucky. I think the reason Oregon lost to them and probably can't beat an SEC team is because oh sure they're fast and they little fast guys but that doesn't always win games, OSU beat them a few years ago and Oregon was putting 40 points every week, they scored 17 on OSU. Teams in the south have big guys playing and that helps in the long run a lot.

They already had their shot, let some one else give it a go. Besides if they did play and won the would be 1-1 against LSU what would that prove? You cant claim they are the national champs and are better than LSU just cause they won the last game played.

Probably won't see Bama/LSU again, but, in my humble opinion that should be the game for the Championship if they both win out.

Bama has their hands full right now for some reason, Ga southern has that triple option is really working well. If Bama doesn't score 30 + in the second half they'll drop below Oregon and will play in a bowl game.

FOh, the the good news in this game? Ga southern has kicked off to the 35 every time. not a good idea but whatever works, if they keep it away from Maze they kick to the other guy and he has a chance for a return.
