They will be here on monday, and I have so much good music. What LP/CD should get the honor of first to be played on the big Maggies?

    LOL!

I thought about 'Zep being the first up, and "Stairway" backwards is one of my all-time favorites. I will have some Amy Grant on hand to counteract that one.

I'm assuming since you have so much good music that you have the 180g LP versions of "Rumors" or "Dreamboat Annie"?

I'd put those on the short list...fo sho

I would suggest Metallica's S&M album on vinyl. It is by far their best album (IMO), and it sounds fantastic on vinyl.

I think that should be a personal choice, kind of like naming your first child !!!! But since you asked, I'd suggest Steely Dan "Gaucho".

They are here! They are HUGE, and they are phenomenal. I never thought I could leave the SDA's behind, but these are so much more "alive" than anything that has graced my ears. I think I have found my very last stop on the speaker front.

The first LP played was my MFSL copy of "I Robot" by the Alan Parsons Project. "Let it Be" followed, and the realism in my crappy room was enough to bring a tear of joy to my eye. A full review and pics to follow...
