So i just built a new home theater system. Im running a Onkyo TX-NR609. Polk Audio Monitor 70s For Fronts A Polk CS2 Center Channel Speaker And Polk Rti4s for the rears. I just got my psw505 still trying to play with the settings but it does sound boomy at times Its placed in the corner of my bedroom and im running a monster sub cable to the LFE in on my sub. Any options on proper settings to use etc would be great.

Look at the other threads. Plenty here to choose from concerning 505 hookup. Are your speakers set to small ?

The Center And Fronts Are Set to full band. As i was reading else where due to the size of the monitor 70s and the cs2 thats where it should be.

Im just going to do the settings manually i did not like what the audessey calibration was doing. And im very happy with the sub for 199$ and i was upgrading from a really old HTIB that had a weak non powered 8 inch sub.

Mike - you should have read somewhere that everything needs to be set to small. Technically, the 70's and CS2 are capable of holding their own if you set them to large. BUT..... if you have a sub, you should have your reciever pushing the power to the mids and highs while letting the sub (and seperate amp) push the lows.
If you are unsure, or need some extra information - do a search on THX settings. Basically you should start with everything set to 80Hz, and go from there. I know THX says 80 and that's just the way it is. By the general population, I've heard that 60 works for the 70's/CS2. Personally, I leave mine at 8065" Sony X900 (XBR-65X900E)
Pioneer Elite SC-37
Polk Monitor 70's (2)
Polk Monitor 40's (4)
Polk Monitor CS2
Polk DSW Pro 660wi
Oppo BDP-93
Squeezebox Duet
Belkin PureAV PF60

My onkyo does not have the small setting just full band which i presume is large or diffrent HZ levels i have my fronts and center set at 80hz now. And did notice a better bass sound will play around with it some more. Sadly i dont have the space to play around with sub placement in my bedroom. Should i have my rti4s at 80 as well?

Yes full band is exactly that. If you have it set to full band the sub will not play unless it there is audio from a .1 LFE sound track or unless you turn on Double Bass.AVR: Onkyo Tx-NR808
