All I can say is wow! Best speaker I've ever heard since the PMC EB1's a few years back. They will replace my Polk LSi15's in CT system. Those LSi15's will make killer surround speakers in Maine system!!

They have been discussed here quite a few times. Enjoy the new rig though.

They have mixed reviews. I've heard a setup here locally and they're ok, not my cup of tea though.

    Not really but kind of...

Similar designer so they seem similar. Biggest difference is a ribbon tweeter.
    - Not Tom ::::::: Any system can play Diana Krall. Only the best can play Limp Bizkit.

I've heard the Tritons twice and they sounded vastly different each time.

Seems like this speaker is very critical of placement. If they sounded good, they were most likely set up properly.

I listened to a pair @ The SoundRoom in Johnson City yesterday. I was impressed w/ their dynamics and the high end "sparkle" but felt the bass was somewhat overwhelming. My expeirence with higher end speakers is quite small so I don't have a good knowledge base to compare them to. I would like the opportunity to hear them for a couple hours in a proper room setup w/ music I am intimate with to truly get a better feel for them. I think they would excel in home theater, but I'm not sure I'd be happy with them in a 2ch only setup.

I heard the Tritons at Soundscape in Baltimore and was very impressed. I believe that Sandy had a hand in setting them up or at least that is what the owner told me. I liked them better than the Polk LSiM 705's that he demoed for me with the same system.
I got static in my head
