Just received an email regarding some sort of suit involving Netflix and Wal Mart...anybody know if this is bona fide?
Yep, my name really is Bob.

    Win or lose, the only ones that make out are the lawyers. Nobody is twisting your arm to use Netflix, so I say this lawsuit is BS! Amazon, Blockbuster...there are options out there.

    I got the e-mail today and promptly deleted it. A whoping $1.50 will come ones way should they file suit, come on like others have said netflix forces nobody to subscribe to thier service, if one is so upset with the increase to $16 a month then they should cancel as stated by others there are other options available, look at it this way should you file suit and win and continue to use netflix then at least one monnth will only of costed you $14.50 instead of $16. The water company in our area just increased thier rates 5% now thats something to **** about

    I've been thinking about this and my first response was not to bother with it, but assuming most people feel the same way about a buck fifty, I may hit the motherlode on this one. :twisted:
    My equipment sig felt inadequate and deleted itself.

    If we did indeed file a claim, chances are enough time will lapse that when our $1.50 eventually shows up my wife will throw it out thinking it's some sort of scam.
    We did not have a problem with Netflix's price change...just dropped the streaming. Wish they would get some of the releases faster than they do but overall our experince with them has been decent.
