There are a pair of Carver Amazings that were put on the curb in Oshkosh. Ad says that they are in working condition and actually look decent.

But most importantly theyre free and sitting on the curb!

Theres no email or phone number and only an address so someone very local would be ideal so you dont drive there to find them gone.

address is:

1274 wheatfield dr.
oshkosh, wi

If someone would be kind enough to pick them up for me I would make it quite worth their time and I could pick them up this weekend. And I know someone may just snipe this and get them for themselves, but I guess thats how it goes, but just wanted to see if someone would be so kind :D

Wow, I'm only a hour away from Oshkosh. Wish they had a number listed.

Somehow I bet they were put on the curb by some poor guy's pissed off wife or (recently) ex-wife.

Sad to think of them sitting there in the snow and rain. Kind of makes you want to cry.

bummer. well hopefully someone was able to pick them up and give them a home. those ribbons are toast if they were exposed to much moisture.

would be a shame if they ended up in a landfill

3hrs away, I would have been up for a drive to find out what happened to them if they were less than an hour. Wow though, great speakers at an unbelievable price. I really hope someone who is into audio gets them, no just someone looking for profit

I saw the CL ad listed about a month ago on the Carver forum if I remember correctly. Interesting....

So if they have lasted that long, maybe worth a drive. If I wasnt like 12 hour from them and leaving for TN on Friday I might debate it....

Too bad I didn't see this thread earlier. Went to check it out. Looks like someone got to them before me. Don't know if I could have fit them in my car anyway. Hope the op found someone to pick them up.

A YellowPage search shows 4 phone numbers listed at that address, might as well try and give them a call if you are local. I remember seeing the ad linked above a couple months ago as well, I think on AK. If they didn't get taken the first time, maybe they didn't get taken the second time either

I did try those numbers when I originally posted this. The number was disconnected, unfortunately

Guys, sounds like a scam. We have a guy down here that advertises a free fur coat, brand new, getting a divorce, blah blah. First one to show up gets it. Gives an adress and it's a local eatery. 10 people show up all looking at each other while this **** is probably across the street laughing his **** off.

I don't know about that here. The address is a confirmed residence, also the add only said Carver speakers, and used very little tag words that would get many peoples interest. But I guess it's possible.
