Peerless VS RD0-194

Today I listened extensively to the Monitor 10A's I picked up last weekend. I can say without a doubt the Peerless tweeters in the 10's are much less fatiguing than the SL2000's in the 1.2's. They are sweet and very musical. In fact they seem to extend further but I think it's more a matter of the extension on the 2000's is overwhelmed by that spike everyone knows about. I never liked a sax played on the SL2000's, not so with the Peerless. They are not nearly as harsh.
Do the RD0-194's compare closely to the Peerless.
Thanks

I like the peerless. I think the 194's are a nice step up from the 2000's. You should definitely give them a try.

Yes they do.
H9"Appreciation of audio is a completely subjective human experience. Measurements can provide a measure of insight, but are no substitute for human judgment. Why are we looking to reduce a subjective experience to objective criteria anyway? The subtleties of music and audio reproduction are for those who appreciate it. To date the RDO 194's are the best upgrade I have made to my SDA 1C'sI got static in my head

Completely agree, even though I still have those less than desirable SL2000s in my SDAs (haven't budgeted for the 0194s yet).
Love the Peerless in my 5As, and 10As. Those are winners--nothing like the 2000s, smooth, sweet, musical, mellow (and that's what I'm all about).
Try them, you'll like them! (I should really 'replace' mine) as I listen to the Monitors more than I do to the SDAs--that should tell you something!
