Thank god you guys are making the Minnesota Vikings look good!:lol: If not for the Colts, the Vikes would bring a new meaning to the word "SUCK".

The Vikings do still suck. In my entire life of being a fan, I have never been so completely disgusted by this team. I am so glad I decided before the season began to simply not give a $h!t.

    couldn't come at a better time....with Luck being the prize in the NFL draft they can pick up the apprentice for Manning to train!!!

    My Colts are definitely the frontrunner in the 'Suck for Luck' race...

    It's all a moot point anyway because nobody can stop the Packers. I would still take a 2007 Patriots team over the Packers now because they were more balanced, but this year nobody is really even in the same discussion. That doesn't mean they can't be beaten, just like the Giants took down the Patriots in that super bowl...

    Althhough I think they should draft him, I don't think the Colts will take Luck unless it's doubtful that Manning will be able to play again.

    I think they will due to the fact this year the max salary for a rookie is much lower than in previous years. They should be able to sign him while keeping Manning.

    Then they can finally get rid of Painter. As a Purdue/Notre Dame fan, I had enough of his poor performances in college. Dont like seeing it over again in the pro's :smile:

    the sad fact remains that even if he does heal and is able to play, Manning has at tops 4 years in him and they could bring Luck along with fewer bangs than Manning got coming out of college...

    Packers need to pick up Jerad Allen. They're having a hard time getting meaningful pressure for most of the game, and Allen is a beast.

    Here's a question for all of you: Why isn't the sports press starting to talk about a "PERFECT" season for the Packers at this point? They were all over it a few years ago when the Patriots were performing at this 'level'...and then the embarrassing loss to the Giants came (18-1).

    On paper, it does not look like any of the remaining teams on the schedule for the Packers has a chance of upsetting them. And they look like a good bet to go all the way again. Now, I'll tell you that "I" am NO Packers fan. I've disliked them since they beat my Raiders in Superbowl II when I was a kid! But you have to admit when a team is playing at another level.

    That was also true of the Pats for most of that season, until the Eagles showed the rest of the League how to play them. And the Giants went toe to toe with them in the last game of the regular season!

    Well what does everyone think? Not to derail John's thread, but Minnesota is out of it.

    You cannot derail this thread... It was "derailed" for them since before they snapped the first ball in preseason. The only real play worthy of a highlight reel was the runback for a touchdown of the seasons opening kickoff.
    They need a coaching staff, wideouts that can go get a ball, and with notable exceptions to AP and Jarred Allen, they need 51 others that want to actually play to their full potential. Bottom line is they flat-out suck, perhaps even moreso than the Colts.

    Hey I've been a Viking fan for years grew up in Northern Minnesota they need an offinsive line to protect Ponder and for Christs sake start getting some DB's and a Safety a Reciever why dont they use Joe Webb, I just want them to win the SB in my lifetime then they can go back to sucking.
