Currently I'm using the Rtia5 & CSi a6 and I'm getting the (((UPGRADINITIS:lol::biggrin:))) and was looking at the Rti A9. My usage of the speakers are 70%HT & 30%Music, but I'm also looking at the LSiM 703 and the LSiM706c. Will those LSiM speakers be more for Music than HT?
NOTE: I'm getting the RtiA9 - $899.94 PAIR and the LSiM 703 & 706c - $1,499.28
It's a sweet deal I'm getting either way!
Samsung-55 LED
Denon 3808ci
RTi A5 (Fronts)
CSi A6 (Center)
FXi 5 (Rears)
Velodyne DPS-12 (Sub)

Crap man, where, if you don't mind telling me, are getting the 9's for that price? New? Refurbs? Used? What?

I myself am coming into a chunk-o-change in very near future. I had planned on getting a pair of RTi12s and a CSi5, but I figured what the heck, do the 9s and 6. BUT, that 706 looks like a very killer center. Puzzlement, puzzlement

Good on you brother! Get what you want. It'd be a tough toss up for me if I had your choice.

Polkdirect used to have the A9's for that price . . I wish I would have jumped on them then. I've always dreamed about having those monsters in my house. In your case, the A9's are definitely more on the HT side of the spectrum than the LSiM's are. I have nearly the same speaker set up that you do, and I would upgrade to the 9's if I had the bug and the money. No offense to Emotiva, as I considered buying an XPA-5 myself, but I wouldn't want to drive a speaker as sweet as the 703 with one. I think your current electronics are perfect for the flagship RTiA home theater. And while your at it, pick me up a pair of 9's at that killer price, check's in the mail . . .

Oh yeah, the membership fee! We so sorry, we forgot to tell you. You gotta get pretty good deals to make up the membership fee, if ever.

Yeah I didn't realize that membership would cost as much as a used car.... No wonder they don't want to let you see what they have until you sign up.
On top of that, you have to spend a ridiculous amount of money to make up for it.... I guess if it saves you 20k on remodeling your house it's worth it, but for average guys it's not really. I guess I'll stick with buying A9s :)
