im probably stupid for asking this, but if you connect your amp to the "speaker in" on the polk dsw pro 660wi, do you NEED to connect other speakers to the "speaker out" connections? im asking because i dont want the sound of my speakers to come through my sub, becouse there's special in/out wire ports for the sub specifically on my amp and was going to simply connect that to the sub, but i didnt know whether or not you HAVE to connect speakers to the "speaker out" if you use the "speaker in" on the polk dsw pro 660wi. thanks alot

Use the LFE. It's one 75 ohm cable connection....done.

You don't have to, no. I think this arrangement is more for receivers that would not have a sub out option. This allows you to use your L/R output, into your sub, while still connecting the fronts.

I'm not sure if/how the crossover function works at this point though. I don't actually have the sub yet (ordered it this past weekend), and I just use the LFE on my Elite so that's a non-issue to me.
