I have a line on a pair of Tannoy Red's in the orig. cabs for $7500. I'm only offering this information to the Polk members. These are in very nice condition and as you know, a hard speaker to find. This post is to see if anyone has interest, if so PM me. I have a pair of 15" Silvers and I can tell you, Tannoys are worth the money.

    Some classic Tannoys I've heard are truly wonderful. And sound great on 'tubes'. I just think that most of us just don't have that kind of coin at the moment. I know I'd think about these seriously if I did!

    Well, there has to be someone here who makes six figures or more and is single? lol

    I know it's a lot of money for most people, I just wanted people to know about these. You just don't see these and $7500 is a good price given the condition and what they are. I said before, I wouldn't have the Silvers if I had to buy them.

    You'll never sell these here, take them to Audiogon where they belong for an easy sale, at a different price.

    I'd push them on eBay actually as they will kick up a bidding frenzy with a nice writeup and excellent pics.

    They'll sell, no worries.

    I'm not accusing kkibrisli of being one, but be careful, the Tannoy community attracts a lot of scammers on both sides.

    You can look me up on AK, Klipschforum etc. I've used various Klipsch from the heritage family and decided to try 15" Tannoy's next. No scammer here.

    KK - It's just our local protection for our flea market folks coming out, no offense is meant. Welcome to the madness and I've seen you on both forums to boot.

    Just out of curiosity, what your favorite big K?

    Hi dorokusai, I went all the way with Klipsch. The best K is the two-way Jubilees with TAD 4002 on the K402 horn.
