I have completed my upgrade to my crossovers in my SDA2Bs........thanks to ALL on this forum for helping me. I could not have completed it without your advice.
My question is concerning the 5.8uf capacitor. What is it's purpose?
How about the 2.7ohm resistor? Specifically what are they both accomplishing in the circuit?

Maybe a Zobel network? to compensate the impedance!Make it simple...Make it better!

The 5.8uf/2.7ohm cap/resistor in parallel is a contour circuit. http://www.diyaudioandvideo.com/Calculator/Contour/Help.aspx"He who fights with monsters should look to it that he himself does not become a monster. Ok thanks guys. That helps me understand what the two are doing in there. One more question. The circuit only is working in conjunction with the tweeters and not the drivers right?
