This I cannot wait to see. This is equivalent to the Beatles coming back for me. The Prince of Darkness himself back in front of the original SABBATH! This should be one HELL of a ride.:cheesygrin:

Black Sabbath is my favorite band, and my very first concert was Black Sabbath in 1976 in San Diego while I was in the Navy. Ozzy was so young and so coherent. The opening act was Bob Seger. Weird combo for sure, but he put on a great show as well. I wouldn't see Sabbath now with Ozzy because I made the mistake of buying The Last Supper and got tired of him screaming the F word constantly when the guys were trying to play their great instrumentals.

    Well don't that beat all!

You and I were at the same concert - it was my first concert as well but I was still in high school.

I also attended the San Diego show not sure if they were supporting Sabbath Bloody Sabbath or Never Say die I lived in La,Mesa and went to Helix High School thats all we talked about days prior to the show and after the show. The Sports Arena always had good shows and this was a good one I know we were all in a Ozzy state of mind but do remember attending. I remember buying a used red Gibson SG with a Fender Champ as I thought Tony was the best next to Pagey of course. I did however disliked the Reunion Tour CD that came out a few years ago , due to all of Ozzys F bombs it some how took away from the performance, I will be looking forward for the new LP and Tour.

Well...it is all a bit hazy due to time....(among other things), but as I recall the SD concert was just before Sabotage came out. I remember when Tony started "Symptom of the Universe" - and was totally blown away!

Good music, a good source, and good power can make SDA's sing. Tubes make them dance.

I always felt cheated that they disbanded by the time I came of age. This is my chance! I hope Ozzy gets his act together enough to play his part well. As this may be a second chance(s) for him I think he will. Performing a concert is easier for him than making a cheese sandwich.

When I was 14 and discovering "older" rock music I asked my uncle if he ever heard of Jimi Hendrix and he just laughed. I asked him why he laughed and he would just laugh again.

    Now I see why.

I heard during the Reunion Tour they had to have a screen at his feet displaying the lyrics if you own the Reunion CD there is a picture of said screen I guess it was hard for him to remember the lyrics after all of his solo stuff or perhaps his long term memory is shot.

A little sumpin' sumpin' from about a decade ago: Ozzy, Toni front stage and ...... Phil Collins on drums ?!!

Well, it was the Queen's Golden Jubilee Concert (take a look at Prince Charles in the balcony ). Please note that Ozzy had the good taste to call out "God Save the Queen !" at the end of the tune.

Ozzy Osbourne .... Master of Reality and International Man of Diplomatic Good Etiquette !! Who'd a thought !!!

Would have been extra awesome, IMO, if he had played "Children of the Grave", but ......

Saw them 3 times during the Reunion Tour in the late 90's. Each performance was successively worse than the previous. Now it's 10+ years later, not sure about this one. At least they should be well rested this time. Between Ozzfest & the Sabbath, Ozzy was touring like a **** back then. Aren't they supposed to be working on new material too? Hopefully something better than Psycho Man & Selling My Soul.

Wow! I;m shocked at how many of you guys were at that show. I remember being deaf until the next day and I remember some dumb hippie couple had a baby with them. It was such a great performance.
