Carver AL-III

Local guy on CL is selling a pair for $300. Says in good condition but needs foam grills. Not at all familiar with these speakers. Have over 200wpc to power them. Are these any good?

    very good speaker. Go listen to see if ribbons are still good. $300 very good price if in good condition.

    Those exact speaker are on my "Get your ears on these speakers" list.

    300 is a pretty good deal on em too.

    I've had AL-III's and AL-III + that I did the Infinity woofer mods on. Great speakers!

    Another great thing about these speakers they have no visible from the front flat surface your significant other can place a candle on!:cheesygrin:

    Run, don't walk. If they work, they are priceless for the coin. You may never seek another speaker.
