Well I have a friend that is about as broke as I am. I was trying to sell some guitar parts to raise some cash for another DIY speaker project and got side tracked you might say. He also has a cassette deck to throw in. The guitar parts I have for trade in this deal are worth around $100.

What's it worth? I know it is no high end integrated, but have read some good things about these over the years.

Not actual pic, but this is what it is...

Those units are, actually, not bad. I have an older Technics New class (single A) that sounds pretty good with my Monitor 5s. But I picked that up and the matching tuner for less than 20 at a GW! So I think 100 is a bit much?

They're not going to compare to something like a NAD or a Cambridge Audio integrated of the same power. But for the price they can be had for who can complain?

These units turn up a lot for very little coin in various places. Some are refugees from late '80s Rack systems.

It goes without saying that the biasing is some kind of clever A/B sliding scale and not actual A.

Go to vintage technics.com they list it there the specs and the price it was going for back in the day, some of the earlier 80's technics integrated amps were decent ones I own 2 Suv-909s A silver and dark gray one the silver one is still going strong after all these years, I couldnt be happier with it, the gray one needs some work got dropped but plan on repairing it one day.

The last one I sold went for $184.00 on Ebay, in the UK they normally sell for $300.00 and more in the US less but almost certainly if in good condtion more than a $100.00

Well, I just pulled off the impossible by doing a double-blind comparison all by myself, purely by virtue of the fact that I completely and stupidly forgot what I did last. I guess that getting old does have its advantages after all :D
