Hi folks,

I scored a high end disc transport at a great price and don't need one of my three beloved Oppo 980H's. This one does DSD over HDMI and will also do 480i video over HDMI. It has 7.1 analog outs as well. Here's an info link:

http://www.oppodigital.com/dv980h/default.asp

It has gotten light use as a dedicted music transport and will ship in the original box with all accessories including the cool fabric bag. It came out of the box, into my rack in my dedicated HT and back into the box. It's as new and the remote was used first about an hour ago to make sure it works. It also has the latest firmware. I'm also including some multichannel discs so hirez newbies will have something to listen to right out of the box.

I bought the 980H after a lot of study about which transport to buy and after comparing the Oppo models. Although they all do a good job, this model is the best choice for audio and does a great job on video, too.

Here are the discs included:

Four Seasons of Love series ? Spring Affair-DTS multichannel
Four Seasons of Love series-Autumn Tears-DTS multichannel-sealed
Emerson Lake and Palmer-From the Front Row Live! Series-DVD-A
Aaron Neville-Nature Boy-DVD-A
Multichannel SACD Sampler
Vince Gill-Breath of Heaven-DTS multichannel

$160 plus shipping seems about right to me. If you aren't happy once you receive it, send it back and I'll refund your money (like every other sale I've ever done - but no one has ever taken me up on it.)

I've bought and sold a lot of gear on this forum (although the feedback system is wacky right now) and have sold on eBay for over 12 years with perfect feedback. My ID is rtinatl.

Please PM and I prefer PayPal.

For those who are interested, I bought an SDI-modified Pio Elite DV-79avi player locally. It does SACD, DVD-A, DTS, etc. via HDMI and has an SDI video mod by jbsdigital to output a direct digital feed to my scaler. I can now sell my Panasonic RP-82 with SDI and free up a little space in my rack. The Oppo sounds every bit as good, maybe better, but the single box vs. two box equation, plus the great price swayed me.
