The CMA Awards was on tonight and I made it a point to watch the tribute to Glen Campbell, who is suffering from Alzheimer's Disease. Despite the presence of guitarists like Vince Gill and Brad Paisley, their skills on their instruments were hardly used to reflect the mastery of the guitar by Glen Campbell. However, I was reminded of the youtube video of Steve Lukather (of Toto fame) interviewing/jamming with Glen Campbell. From one superb studio guitarist to another....

I watched Him on the Tonight show a month ago and it was really good. It was a band with his children (I think) as some members and they did 2 songs. Supposed to be one of his last appearances. I'd like to see it again.

Glen Campbell was not only a top star in country music and television, he was also one on the most sought after session guitarists. If you can't hear a difference, don't waste your money.

Glen Campbell was and still is awesome. The guy is funny and just an amazing guitarist. Lukather is no slouch either.
