I picked up a Knight KNI 935 Amp and a KG-50 tuner today, don't know a thing about them but for $50 I couldn't pass them up. I went on line and got some info, can't wait to get them home and see how they sound. Does anyone have one of these little amps? If so how do you like it?

Vacuum tubes or soiled state are those?

FWIW, I have lots of old Allied catalogs and can probably come up with a smidgen of info (maybe nothing more than you have already, though).

Should be quite respectable, 'specially if vacuum tube. The US-made Allied/Knight stuff tended to have somewhat odd physical layout/design - some used less than common tubes, too (although not as weird as some Stromberg-Carlson and even some hk). Generally attractive stuff it was. LaterAllied/Knight stuff was Pioneer OEM.

EDIT: oh, yah :-) The KNI-935 is Pioneer OEM. It is (in all probability) the amp and preamp portion of the Allied/Knight 333 receiver (aka Pioneer SX-34/SX-34B). Push-pull 6BM8 for a whopping 8 wpc. Should be quite nice with the normal freshening up.

I am sure you found this thread from AK from way back when...
