My Daughter has a mini dilema. She did a short vid for a school project but needs to convert the file so it will play on any DVD player. The vid was taken with a Canon camera and I believe the file format is .mov? Is there an easy way to convert it an .avi or other file format that can then be burned to a DVD and thus be played on any DVD player.
Thanks.
Thanks.

I use cineform neoscene to convert to .avi. I believe you can get a 30day trial herehttp://www.cineform.com/neoscene/.
Once you have it in .avi I believe windows dvd maker should be able to burn a dvd. I did google it quickly to see some people have problems with avi files but there are some codex downloads that may help. -
Thanks dr and mike,I think I will start with handbrake and see if that works.

Try AnyVideoConverter. Just google it."Dr Dunn admitted that his research could also be interpreted as evidence that women are shallower than men. He said: "Let's face it - there's evidence to support it."Best Buy is for people who don't know any better. Magnolia is for people who don't know any better and have more money to spend.
