Had this amp for about two weeks now. Gave it a good cleaning and have been alternating between RTi12s and RTA8Ts. The amp powers the 12s nicely, better that anything I have used yet. It makes the RTA8Ts absolutely sing. Very nice, well balanced sound with plenty of punch.
I had it hooked up without the "sigma" drive for about a week and thought it sounded good, but could sound better with the 12s. Hooked up the "sigma" drive and it rocked the low end much better on the 12s. The mids and highs are still a bit "bright" for my taste, but I think that is just an inherent quality of the speakers.
The RTA8Ts are a great match for this amp. Doesn't take much to get them to full potential.
Overall, this is a great beefy amp for those on a budget. Under a buck per watt to get into the over 200wpc club.
If you get one, try and get one with the sigma drive. I was skeptical, but it does make a difference.
