I just bought a set of Polk Monitor 70s and a CS20 center after reading that the CS20 was the same speaker as the CS2. Did I make a mistake? I've read about speakers having the same timber.. timbre..??

You'll be just fine timbre wise, it just looks a little different.

Good choice! Very nice speaker selection. What are you driving them with?

Thanks for the reassurance. I was really stressing over it. I spent a few weeks trying to decide what L/C/R setup to go with. I'm driving it with an Onkyo TX-NR609. I'll be over thinkingwhat sub to buy next....

    You're fine Devani.

    Timbre.
CTC BBQ Amplifier, Sonic Frontiers Line3 Pre-Amplifier and Wadia 581 SACD player. Speakers? Always changing but for now, Mission Argonauts I picked up for $50 bucks, mint.

I also run a CS20 with my Monitor 70's and it is great. Timbre match is no issue. As for the sub, I also have a PSW505 that ROCKS. If you don't have to go wireless in your setup it's hard to beat for the money. My sister-in-law's boyfriend remarked at how the Polk PSW 505 romp's on his Velodyne that he spent WAY more money on!

DSW Pro 660wi on sale from new egg for $349. The only reason why I say the 660 wi over the regular DSW Pro600 is because the 660 has double the wattage.
