NAD Tuner

Just bought the 116 pre- from brgman and now I'd like to get a matching tuner. There is currently one on a-gon for what appears to be a decent price, but I thought I'd see what was available here. I'm not looking for any specific model, just something that is similar to the 116 in looks.

The NAD 4155 tuner (4150 is similar with a few less features) show up on eBay quite often and is their top rated tuner. I have one in one of my rigs that I use often.
I went through a tuner auditioning phase bout 2 years ago and have to say that there are a few tuners out there in the same price range that may be a bit better if you are looking for great sound as being more important than matching looks.
No matter what you buy, most vintage tuners are out of alignment and you will have around $100 in shipping and service if you want it made right. Polkie billbillw's brother owns http://www.radioxtuners.com and has done 2 for me.
In my opinion, the Sansui TU-717 is the absolute best tuner you can buy in the NAD 4155 price range.
In my opinion. for top 10 performance the Kenwood KT-5020 is the best value out there.VTL ST50 w/mods / RCA6L6GC / TlfnknECC801S

I should have posted that I bought a tuner already. NAD C-440. Not the best, but it does the job for me...especially since I don't listen to the radio very often. I seriously considering the Squeezebox deal posted in the 2-Channel section, so I'll probably be listening to the tuner even less if I get it.
Thanks.Things work out best for those who make the best of the way things work out.-John Wooden
