MC60 box installation

I am mounting a couple of MC60 ceiling mount speakers in my basement as I prepare to put drywall on the ceiling. The area I am putting the speaker in is 14 1/2"W x 9"D. I was wondering if it would be worth my time to box this area in much like putting a woofer in a speaker box. If so, could someone help me figure out the dimensions based on the number provided?
