    I hope everything is OK too. And I don't mean this at Jon particularly, but I get really annoyed when people list things for sale and never check back in a timely manner. I was very interested in these when he posted them but I couldn't wait to hear back and I've since bought 3 other lots of tubes and spent the $$$ I would have used for these.

    Exactly. I buy so many tubes on auctions with firm expiration times. I try to keep myself on some sort of budget so making the deal and never having to look back sure helps.

    Speaking of never looking back, the popcorn snare I bought from Jon is a freaking riot. It's small enough to leave out right next to my desk in my home office. Whenever I finish a stressful customer call, I grab those sticks and beat the hell out of that thing!

    Who were these sold to? I sent a PM saying I would like to buy them, but I never heard from Jon again. Were these actually sold? If so, why were they not sold to the person who had "first dibs" (me)?

    Jon does post his tubes on Audiogon too, which is fine, but a heads up could help alleviate confusion like this.

    Just so Jon knows I am not upset at all and I'm not even meaning to rag on him as we all have a different approach/method of selling. He has great tubes and stands behind them. I just wish he was a little more timely in his responses and a little more detailed about what's going on.

    Gotcha guys. I was not aware that he posts his tubes on Audiogon as well. That must be where they sold. Bummer. I really could have used these too, as I had been looking for some good 5751's for a couple months now. Just have to keep looking..........

    About a year ago I bought 6 each NOS GE 5751-WA 1956 3-mica black plates from a guy on eBay.

    My PV5 pre uses 4, and I've had the other 2 sitting there waiting for another paiir (or more) to show up so this listing got me excited!
