My Carver TFM-45 was bench tested at 399 @ 8 ohms when I had it repaired. It's a beast and sounded terrific.

You can find "unrestored" Adcom amplifiers for a good price....what's that even mean? What's the price? What work was performed? It's a solid amp but nothing to write home about....as I don't think any Adcom amp is that special. It's the prettier, more reliable version of Carver, cheap and easy to buy.CTC BBQ Amplifier, Sonic Frontiers Line3 Pre-Amplifier and Wadia 581 SACD player. Speakers? Always changing but for now, Mission Argonauts I picked up for $50 bucks, mint. -
